VIVAIA has launched its RE:WORK FW26 campaign starring Meg Stalter and Jenna Lyons, using a fictional office rivalry to spotlight footwear designed around style and all-day comfort. The campaign introduces the RE:WORK collection, priced from $129 to $249, spanning clogs, loafers, sneakers and heels. Stalter takes the role of Chief Comfort Officer, while Lyons plays Chief Style Officer. Their dispute ends with a kicked-down office door and a corporate merger designed to resolve the footwear debate.

A Workplace Footwear Feud

In the campaign film, Stalter rejects a series of shoes before calling an emergency design meeting. After her Comfort Proposal is rebuffed, she swaps cow-print heels for cow-print VIVAIA sneakers and marches to Lyons’ office.

Meg Stalter, Chief Comfort Officer at VIVAIA, said:

“Everybody should get to kick a door down… in a pair of cow print sneakers. I loved being the boss for the day. I've always fantasized about having an office and being in charge.”

By the following morning, the two fictional executives share an office, with the ad revealing that their opposing positions have been directed toward the same objective.

Meg Stalter, Chief Comfort Officer at VIVAIA, said:

“Everyone was excited about the stunt, which I think says a lot about us.”

Style And Comfort In One Collection

The RE:WORK collection presents office-ready styles ranging from clogs and loafers to sneakerinas and heels. Lyons’ campaign role aligns with her view that footwear should not require a trade-off between appearance and wearability.

Jenna Lyons, Chief Style Officer at VIVAIA, said:

“I mean, let's just face it, I am the Chief Style Officer.”

Jenna Lyons, Chief Style Officer at VIVAIA, said:

“I think when shoes are stylish and not comfortable, they're not doing their job. No one looks good when they're in pain, and you've seen those girls teetering after a night out - that's not chic. Teetering is not chic. So as far as I'm concerned, if the shoe's not comfortable, it's dead to me.”

Lyons also addressed the practice of changing from commuting shoes into office footwear after arriving at work.

Jenna Lyons, Chief Style Officer at VIVAIA, said:

“I have always noticed women changing their shoes on the way out of the subway, and it absolutely drives me mad. These (VIVAIA) are the shoes that you actually don't have to change. They go from the subway right into the office.”

Stalter’s Onstage Shoe Test

Stalter named the AVOIR loafer, worn at the end of the campaign film, as her favorite RE:WORK style. The actor is currently appearing as Mary Todd Lincoln in Broadway’s Oh, Mary!, and described comfort as relevant to the physicality of the role.

Meg Stalter, Chief Comfort Officer at VIVAIA, said:

“I am a comfort shoe person. I'm not interested in suffering for a shoe. I want to look cool, but I also want to be comfortable.”

Meg Stalter, Chief Comfort Officer at VIVAIA, said:

“They genuinely feel like slippers.”

Earlier this year, Stalter wore VIVAIA CAROL Sneakerinas on stage during an appearance at Coachella.

Meg Stalter, Chief Comfort Officer at VIVAIA, said:

“I wore them on stage with my Minnie Mouse outfit with PinkPantheress, which is a very serious shoe test. Coachella is already a lot - you're in the desert, you're walking everywhere, your body is going through it - so they passed with flying colors.”

Designing For Modern Workdays

VIVAIA Creative Director Alan Buanne appears in the campaign as Lyons’ assistant, while the RE:WORK collection reflects his work on footwear intended for varied office wardrobes and longer days on foot.

Alan Buanne, Creative Director at VIVAIA, said:

“As a designer, the real challenge is creating a shoe that looks incredible, but that a woman can put on in the morning and still want to be wearing at the end of the day.”

Alan Buanne, Creative Director at VIVAIA, said:

“Women also aren't dressing for work in one uniform anymore, so why should work footwear mean another black heel? RE:WORK moves from clogs and loafers to 'sneakerinas' and heels, with color, texture and personality. The silhouettes are different, but the principle is the same: every shoe should feel as good as it looks.”

Campaign Meets Retail Rollout

The campaign uses Stalter and Lyons’ contrasting on-screen roles to present the collection’s shared design proposition. Styles from the RE:WORK Collection are available now online at VIVAIA.com and at VIVAIA stores nationwide.
