Genpact has been named to TIME’s World’s Most Sustainable Companies 2026 list for the second consecutive year. The New York-listed Agentic Operations company was among 750 companies selected from more than 5,800 assessed across 43 countries and 20 industries. The recognition reflects Genpact’s financial performance, sustainability reporting, and stated focus on responsible, purpose-driven work. TIME compiled the ranking with Statista Inc. using more than 20 key performance indicators.

Ranking Methodology

The assessment considered sustainable business practices, public commitments and external ratings, reporting and transparency, and environmental and social stewardship. Companies were selected based on overall sustainability score, revenue, market capitalization, and public prominence.

Responsible Growth Focus

Genpact links its sustainability work with its deployment of agentic and AI-driven solutions for clients. The company said it continues to invest in workforce development, giving teams technologies and capabilities intended to support responsible use of AI and advanced digital tools.

Balkrishan “BK” Kalra, President and CEO at Genpact, said:

“Being named to TIME's World's Most Sustainable Companies 2026 list for the second consecutive year reflects the rigor our teams bring to sustainable, responsible growth every day. As we help clients scale agentic and AI-driven solutions, we do so with deep operational context and accountability for measurable outcomes, driving high standards of responsibility, transparency, and impact, both for our clients and us.”

Investment in Workforce Capabilities

The company’s approach is anchored in externally recognized ESG reporting and continued investment in its global workforce. Genpact said its teams are being equipped to help clients operate more efficiently while supporting the company’s own sustainability goals.
