The Farmer’s Dog has entered a multi-year partnership with the National Football League, becoming the league’s first Official Pet Food Partner. The agreement begins with a campaign starring New York Giants running back Cam Skattebo and his senior rescue dog, Duke. The partnership will include content, event experiences and community initiatives across the NFL calendar. It places the dog food company on one of American sports’ most visible platforms.

Campaign Centers On Skattebo And Duke

The launch campaign follows Skattebo and Duke through early mornings, long drives, recoveries and routines. It also features Skattebo’s Dachshund puppies, Cheech and Daizy.

Cam Skattebo, New York Giants running back, said:

“I've had Duke for every high and every low. He's been my teammate long before football became my career. I started feeding him The Farmer's Dog because I wanted as many healthy years with him as possible. If The Farmer's Dog teaming up with the NFL gets even one more person thinking differently about what they feed their dog, that's something I'm proud to be part of.”

Season Long Fan Programs

Fans can expect exclusive content and experiences tied to major NFL events, including Super Bowl LXI, the NFL Combine and the NFL Draft. The partnership will also support community programs including My Cause My Cleats, NFL Salute to Service and NFL FLAG.

Tracie Rodburg, senior vice president of global partnerships at the NFL, said:

“The NFL is all about bringing people together through shared experiences and community. Dogs are an important part of many families, and as the Official Pet Food Partner, The Farmer's Dog will help us celebrate the role they play in our lives and communities throughout the season.”

A Wider Sports Partnership

The NFL agreement joins The Farmer’s Dog’s relationships with The Oprah Podcast, NASCAR Champion Ryan Blaney and U.S. women’s tennis player Jess Pegula. The company is also the Official Pet Food of the Dallas Cowboys and the Dallas Cowboys Cheerleaders.

Jonathan Regev, CEO and Co-Founder of The Farmer’s Dog, said:

“We understand more than ever how much what we eat impacts our health and performance. NFL players live that every day, and people increasingly recognize the same is true for their dogs. We started The Farmer's Dog because for too long, feeding your dog meant choosing between different versions of the same ultra-processed food. This partnership gives us an incredible opportunity to show millions more people there's a better way. Everything we do is about helping dogs live healthier lives and giving people more time with them—more games, more Sundays, and more seasons together. Dogs have an incredible ability to make our lives better, and we're proud to partner with the NFL to celebrate that bond and what it means to have a dog by your side through all of it.”

Reaching Dog Owners Through Football

The partnership gives The Farmer’s Dog a national sports platform to present its freshly cooked, minimally processed meal plans to football audiences. Fans can learn more and view the launch campaign at thefarmersdog.com/nfl.
