The Nashville Predators will launch a team-owned direct-to-consumer streaming service with ViewLift ahead of the 2026-27 NHL season under a multi-year agreement. The platform will carry every locally broadcast Predators game for fans across Tennessee and beyond, alongside live and on-demand programming. ViewLift’s footprint will reach 18 U.S. professional sports teams and six Regional Sports Networks with the addition of the Predators. The service will complement the club’s new broadcast arrangement with Scripps Sports.

Access Across Major Devices

The new app will offer live games, on-demand replays, highlights and original programming in one destination. It will launch across the web, iOS, Android, Apple TV, Roku TV, Fire TV and Android TV, with more platforms planned. Pricing and trial details are due closer to launch.

Bill Wickett, EVP and CMO at the Nashville Predators, said:

“This new streaming service will give our fans a direct connection to the team, on their terms. Smashville is one of the most passionate fan bases in the league, and they deserve the flexibility to watch anytime, anywhere, on whatever device they use most. This is just one more way we're investing in how we connect with our fans.”

Broadcast Partnership Expansion

The streaming service will sit alongside the Predators’ partnership with Scripps Sports, which will air games on “The Spot – Nashville 28” this season. ViewLift became a DAZN company following DAZN’s acquisition of the streaming technology provider last week.

Rick Allen, CEO at ViewLift, said:

“Nashville is a hockey town with one of the most engaged fan bases in the league, and this alliance reflects that. We're proud to become the Predators' streaming partner, giving fans in this market full coverage of the team, no matter how they choose to watch. And we're delighted to be working with Scripps Sports on this, our fourth NHL team joint distribution.”

A Direct Fan Connection

For the Predators, the service creates a dedicated digital outlet for locally carried games and team programming as the 2026-27 season begins. For ViewLift, the agreement broadens its work with professional teams and regional sports networks while linking its distribution technology with the club’s local television coverage.
