PayRewards, the U.S. arm of Australian payments platform Pay.com.au, has launched for small businesses with US$28 million in Series E funding. The privately funded round brings total capital raised to US$70 million. PayRewards enables businesses in most U.S. states to earn points on commercial rent, supplier invoices and other bills paid by ACH or card. Its parent company has processed more than US$7 billion in business expenses over the past 12 months for more than 30,000 businesses, representing 100% year-over-year growth.

Rewards on Business Bills

PayRewards is built to reward payments that are often excluded from conventional card programs, including rent, utilities, taxes and supplier invoices. Members can redeem points through airline and hotel loyalty programs, cabin and room upgrades, gift cards, employee incentives, custom requests, or credit toward future platform invoices.

The platform does not charge a monthly fee. Businesses pay when they choose to earn points, while retaining any rewards already offered by their payment card. PayRewards refers to the combined rewards structure as the Double-Dip.

Blake Hutchison, U.S. CEO at PayRewards, said:

“PayRewards is an end-to-end platform making it simple to pay anyone, by card or bank transfer, and earn full credit card and PayRewards Points in return.”

Australian Platform Expands

The U.S. launch follows Pay.com.au’s November 2025 fundraise of A$25 million, approximately US$18 million. Founded in 2019, Pay.com.au has processed more than A$10 billion in business expenses during the past 12 months and offers points redemption across a network of 16 global airline, hotel and card partners.

PayRewards is available to small businesses in most states, with Connecticut, Hawaii, New Mexico, South Dakota, Washington, DC, and West Virginia currently excluded.

Steve Shillington, McDonald’s franchisee and PayRewards customer, said:

“The rewards are incredibly flexible. It's the best rewards program we've used across our business, and we're earning points on expenses we'd be paying anyway.”

A New Option for Small Businesses

For U.S. operators managing recurring accounts payable, PayRewards presents a practical option to turn routine bill payments into rewards points without a recurring platform subscription. The company’s U.S. arrival builds on Pay.com.au’s established transaction volume and business customer base in Australia.
