Casio Turns A168 Watch Into Full Metal Ring
Casio CRW-002 ring watch reimagines the A168 digital watch in silver and gold, with availability beginning in November.
Casio America, Inc. has introduced the CRW-002, a miniature full-metal ring watch modeled on its A168 digital watch. The CRW-002 uses a module approximately one-tenth the size of a standard watch module, combining the A168’s 1995 design cues with familiar digital functions. The series will be available in November at select retailers, casio.com, and the G-SHOCK Soho Store. The silver CRW-002D-1A will retail for $135, while the gold CRW-002C-7A will retail for $155.
A Compact A168 Design
The ring recreates the A168’s feature indicators, band shape and finish in a smaller format. Casio used high-density mounting technology and a miniature battery to fit the digital module into the accessory.

Digital Functions In Ring Form
Metal injection molding technology is used to form the case and band, with a matte band finish contrasting with the case. The CRW-002 includes a six-digit display, three buttons, water resistance, dual time, a 1/100-second stopwatch, auto-calendar and 12/24-hour format.

November Availability
Signature lighting features include a pulsing light that glows subtly at a preset time or at the top of every hour, alongside an LED backlight. The launch brings Casio’s long-running digital-watch design to a new wearable format.
