PARAGRAPH has introduced an alcohol-removed French Chardonnay as the second release in its fine non-alcoholic wine range. The dry white wine joins the brand’s Spanish Tempranillo and is made from 100% French Chardonnay with alcohol removed to below 0.5% ABV. Available from Oct. 1, the Chardonnay carries a suggested retail price of US$38. The launch brings red and white wines into the range ahead of the holiday season.

A New White Wine

PARAGRAPH Chardonnay is built around freshness, texture and balance. Its profile includes peach, nectarine, crisp apple, lemon, brioche and subtle toasted hazelnut, with French oak adding texture and savory complexity. The wine is intended for seafood, roast chicken, soft cheeses and delicately spiced dishes, or chilled as an aperitif.

Steve Arora, Founder at PARAGRAPH, said:

“With a white, PARAGRAPH becomes more than a single wine. We're opening up new pairings, new occasions and a different way into the brand, while staying true to the ambition we had from the start: to make serious wine part of more moments.”

Southwest France Grapes

The grapes come from cooler vineyard sites in Southwest France, shaped by altitude and Atlantic and Pyrenean influences. PARAGRAPH developed the Chardonnay through tasting and blending sessions with Familia Muga, its strategic wine partner across both red and white wines.

Duncan Shouler, Head Winemaker at PARAGRAPH, said:

“With Chardonnay, I was looking for a wine that could combine freshness with real texture and complexity. The cooler sites we selected in Southwest France give us the natural acidity and fruit definition we need, while partial malolactic fermentation and French oak bring fullness through the mid-palate. The result is bright and precise, but also layered and complete.”

Alcohol Removal Process

Alcohol is removed using low-temperature vacuum distillation at approximately 86°F (30°C), with integrated aroma-capture technology. No flavors are added. The Chardonnay expands PARAGRAPH’s range with a new grape, origin and style while retaining its focus on serious wines for more moments.
