Datarails Adds Native Google Sheets Integration
Datarails’ native Google Sheets integration for finance teams brings governed, live planning, reporting, and analysis into Sheets.

Datarails has introduced native Google Sheets integration for finance teams using Google Workspace. The AI finance operating system now extends beyond Excel, bringing its FinanceOS® platform into Google Sheets. Finance teams can build planning, reporting, and analysis documents without changing how they work. The integration is available now to Datarails customers.
Finance Work Inside Sheets
Users can build financial documents with Datarails formulas directly in Google Sheets, using a formula-building panel to manage functions and conditions. Teams can also create Datarails tables and reports, add custom columns that remain through data refreshes, and apply global filters to control which data appears in a sheet.
Figures update automatically as underlying data changes, while users can drill into cells for detailed records without leaving the sheet. The integration also supports real-time co-editing, presence, commenting, and static-value exports.
Didi Gurfinkel, Co-founder and CEO at Datarails, said:
“Most finance teams face a challenge of scattered spreadsheets reflecting several versions of the truth. The tool may vary: whether it is Excel, or Google Sheets, Powerpoint and LLMs. What doesn’t change is that finance teams need a trusted data layer ensuring every AI output is accurate, governed, repeatable and auditable. With Datarails now supporting Google Sheets for finance, they now have the confidence of FinanceOS behind every output.”
Same Data Across Tools
Datarails said the integration supports its aim of providing a single source of truth for the CFO’s Office across both Excel and Google Sheets.
Didi Gurfinkel, Co-founder and CEO at Datarails, added:
“We’re not here to pick sides between Excel and Google Sheets. We just want to make sure finance has the same trusted, governed data no matter what any finance team uses.”
