GNYADA Named a 2026 Top Trade Association
GNYADA 2026 Top Trade Association recognition highlights advocacy and resources for more than 400 metropolitan New York dealerships.

The Greater New York Automobile Dealers Association has been named to City & State New York’s 2026 Top Trade Associations list, recognizing its advocacy and resources for more than 400 franchised automobile dealerships across metropolitan New York. City & State’s annual list highlights associations that advocate for their members while providing services, information, training and other resources. GNYADA works on legislative, regulatory and industry issues affecting dealer members. The association also produces the New York International Automobile Show and operates an automotive education and training center in Queens.
Support for Dealership Businesses
GNYADA works throughout the year with state, local and federal agencies, regulators and the broader government community. The association keeps dealers informed about changes affecting their operations and provides education, training, information, technology and other resources for member businesses.
Mark Schienberg, president of GNYADA, said:
“We’re honored to be recognized by City & State among New York’s leading trade associations. Our advocacy is about much more than what happens in Albany. It is about being there for our members every day, helping them understand and navigate an increasingly complicated regulatory environment, keeping them informed, providing education and training, and making sure they have access to the information, technology and resources they need to run successful businesses.”
Community and Industry Presence
Franchised automobile dealers employ local residents, support local organizations and businesses, and provide services to consumers throughout the region. GNYADA describes its members as businesses rooted in the communities they serve.
The association also produces the New York International Automobile Show. For more than a century, the event has brought hundreds of thousands of consumers to New York City each year and provided a platform for automobile manufacturers, dealers, technology companies and industry leaders.
Mark Schienberg, president of GNYADA, said:
“Our members are businesses in their communities, not simply businesses in an industry. They employ their neighbors, serve their customers, support local organizations and contribute to the communities where they operate. GNYADA’s job is to support them on all fronts, whether that means advocating on their behalf, helping them navigate regulations, providing education and information, or giving the industry a voice on a much larger stage through the New York International Auto Show.”
Regional Automotive Education
GNYADA operates the Center for Automotive Education & Training in Queens, which provides education and training for the region’s automotive workforce. The City & State recognition spotlights the association’s work across advocacy, dealer resources, education and the New York International Automobile Show.
