WTCA Names Annette Gregg Its First Female CEO
World Trade Centers Association appoints Annette Gregg as its first female CEO in its 57-year history.

World Trade Centers Association has appointed Annette Gregg as its first female chief executive officer in the association’s 57-year history. The international trade organization connects more than 300 World Trade Center locations across nearly 100 countries and territories. Gregg assumes the role effective October 5 and will lead WTCA from its global headquarters at One World Trade Center in New York City. Her appointment follows the association’s return to the World Trade Center site in Lower Manhattan after 25 years.
Leadership Experience
Gregg brings more than 30 years of leadership experience across global associations, private enterprise, and the international business events and hospitality sectors. She most recently served as CEO of the Society for Incentive Travel Excellence, leading an association with approximately 3,700 members and 27 chapters.
Under her leadership at SITE, the organization increased topline revenue by 160% in three years through diversified revenue streams and expanded membership by more than 70%. Gregg was also named the 2026 Marin Bright Legacy Award Recipient for her work with SITE and leadership in meetings and events.
Building Member Value
As CEO, Gregg will work with WTCA’s Board of Directors, Members, and global staff on the association’s strategic and business priorities. Her role includes strengthening Member engagement, expanding the global network, and creating opportunities for Members to connect businesses, markets, and communities through trade and investment.
Previously, Gregg was chief revenue officer for Meeting Professionals International, where she was responsible for approximately 70% of the organization’s revenue and helped expand product distribution across Europe, Asia, and Latin America.
A New Chapter in New York
WTCA’s headquarters and regional teams will support Gregg as she leads the association’s work with Members worldwide. Through its network, events, and programming, WTCA brings together business leaders, economic development organizations, and WTC businesses to exchange market intelligence, develop cross-border relationships, and identify trade and investment opportunities.
