Gundam Events Set for New York and Queens
GUNDAM SEED FREEDOM screenings and a talk show at the Museum of the Moving Image on October 11 and 12, plus cast events at New York Comic Con.
Bandai Namco Filmworks Inc. will bring a two-day GUNDAM SEED FREEDOM Screening & Talk Show to the Museum of the Moving Image in Queens on October 11 and 12. The program includes screenings of MOBILE SUIT GUNDAM SEED FREEDOM in Japanese with English subtitles, with Planning Producer Kaori Shida appearing on October 11. Tickets range from free for MoMI members to $17.50, plus a $1.50 online transaction fee. The October 11 event will also include exclusive attendee giveaways.
Screenings at Museum of the Moving Image
The October 11 program begins with a 6:30 p.m. talk show featuring Shida, Planning Producer of MOBILE SUIT GUNDAM SEED FREEDOM ZERO, followed by the film screening at 7 p.m. The October 12 screening begins at 4 p.m.
Attendees can order tickets for the October 11 event, while tickets for October 12 are also available through the museum. All seating is general admission, and ticket holders should collect tickets from the admissions desk upon arrival.
New York Comic Con Program
The GUNDAM SEED English dub cast will reunite for a complimentary autograph session at New York Comic Con on October 8. Matt Hill, Sam Vincent, and Matthew Erickson are scheduled to appear, with autographs limited to Gundam-related items.
Later that day, the three performers will join Executive Producer Naohiro Ogata and Shida for the “GUNDAM Showcase 2026 @ NYC - Feat. SEED FREEDOM ZERO” main stage panel. The panel will present news about MOBILE SUIT GUNDAM SEED FREEDOM ZERO and include giveaways.
Worldwide Program Stream
Bandai Namco Filmworks Inc. will also stream a special program on October 8 at 3:45 p.m. EDT, sharing updates on MOBILE SUIT GUNDAM SEED FREEDOM ZERO. The program will air on GUNDAM CHANNEL INTL and will provide the same updates as the New York Comic Con panel, though it will not be a recording or live broadcast of the event.
Gundam Activities Across New York
The New York program extends to Bandai Namco Toys & Collectibles America Booth #2619 and TAMASHII NATIONS Booth #2417 at New York Comic Con. Activities include exhibits, retail, a TAMASHII NATIONS panel, and a Matt Hill meet-and-greet photo opportunity and autograph session on October 9.
The events give New York audiences several ways to engage with the GUNDAM SEED series, from film screenings and production discussions to cast appearances and convention programming.
