Sun Home Saunas Ranks No. 17 in Retail Workplaces

Sun Home Saunas has ranked No. 17 in the Small and Medium category of the Fortune Best Workplaces in Retail™ 2026 list, compiled by Great Place To Work® and published with Fortune. The San Diego sauna and cold plunge manufacturer was one of 20 companies named in the category for employers with 10 to 999 U.S. employees. Its Great Place To Work profile, last updated in October 2025, reports that 100% of employees say it is a great place to work. The company’s profile lists 17 U.S.-based employees.

Employee Survey Results

The retail ranking is based on confidential employee responses to the Great Place To Work Trust Index™ survey. Sun Home’s profile reports that employees agreed management is approachable, competent, honest and ethical, and that management’s actions match its words.

Workplace Recognition

Eligibility for the list requires Great Place To Work Certified™ status, at least 10 U.S. employees and a retail industry classification. Employees respond to 60 statements and two open-ended questions covering leadership credibility, respect, fairness, pride and belonging.

The workplace recognition follows other 2026 distinctions, including Fortune naming the Luminar Outdoor 5-Person Infrared Sauna its best overall home sauna and Forbes Vetted naming the Sun Home Cold Plunge Tub its Best Cold Plunge Tub Overall.
