Mercury Insurance Earns Forbes Women Employer Honor
Mercury Insurance named to Forbes’ 2026 Best Employers for Women list, recognizing its focus on career growth and leadership opportunities.

Mercury Insurance has been named to Forbes’ 2026 list of America’s Best Employers for Women, recognizing its workplace focus on career growth, leadership development and long-term opportunity. The recognition draws on independent team member feedback and assesses workplace culture, professional development, work-life balance, pay equity, parental leave and women’s representation in leadership. Mercury, which employs more than 4,200 people and works with more than 6,340 independent agents in 11 states, said the honor reflects its efforts to support women throughout their careers. The company also earned Forbes’ America’s Best Midsize Employers 2026 recognition earlier this year.
Workplace Recognition
Forbes selected Mercury for its 2026 employer list based on team member feedback and a range of workplace measures. The company positions professional development, leadership opportunities and a people-first culture as central elements of its employee experience.
Gabriel Tirador, CEO of Mercury Insurance, said:
“Women have helped shape Mercury's success for decades. Our goal is to ensure every team member has the opportunity to grow professionally, contribute meaningfully and pursue leadership opportunities. We're honored that Forbes has recognized the culture we've worked to build and will continue investing in creating opportunities for women across our organization.”
Career Opportunities And Development
Mercury stated that diverse perspectives strengthen collaboration and help the company serve customers and communities. Its approach includes professional development and leadership opportunities intended to support employees at each stage of their careers.
Jenny Chan, Chief People Officer at Mercury Insurance, said:
“This recognition is especially meaningful because it reflects how our team members experience Mercury. Creating opportunities for women isn't a one-time initiative. It's part of how we recruit, develop and support talent every day. We want everyone at Mercury to see a future where they can build long, fulfilling careers, advance into leadership roles and know their contributions are valued.”
A Broader Employer Record
The latest Forbes distinction adds to Mercury’s earlier 2026 recognition among America’s Best Midsize Employers. For candidates interested in opportunities with the insurer, the company directs job seekers to its Mercury Insurance Resource Center.
