EUCLYD Secures More Than €200 Million in Series A
EUCLYD Series A financing exceeds €200 million to advance efficient AI infrastructure, silicon and datacenter systems.

Bernardo Kastrup, Founder and CEO at EUCLYD.
EUCLYD has signed a Series A financing round of more than €200 million to accelerate development of infrastructure for foundation AI models. Samsung, Somerset Capital Partners, the Scaleup Europe Fund managed by EQT, and Innovation Industries co-led the round, with participation from EIFO, imec.xpand, Brabant Development Agency and Quadri. The Eindhoven-based semiconductor systems company also appointed former ASML President and CEO Peter Wennink as chairman of its board. The funding is set to expand EUCLYD’s engineering organization, advance its silicon and systems roadmap, and prepare the company for commercial deployment across enterprise, sovereign and hyperscale AI markets.
Infrastructure for Foundation Models
EUCLYD is building a platform that combines compute, memory architecture and datacenter systems as foundation models require more power, memory bandwidth and capital. Its roadmap includes craftwerk, described by the company as agentic AI silicon, and craftwerk station CWS, an exascale AI factory designed for low power use.
The company’s platform brings together programmable ASIC compute, processor-memory co-design and system-level optimization to address memory and efficiency constraints in AI performance and scalability.
Bernardo Kastrup, Founder and Chief Executive Officer at EUCLYD, said:
“AI is becoming a foundation of economic growth, scientific discovery, and national competitiveness, but its potential will remain constrained unless we fundamentally change the infrastructure beneath it. This financing accelerates our mission to make intelligence abundant through greater efficiency, lower cost per token, and broader access to advanced AI.”
Investor Group Backs Expansion
The financing group includes semiconductor, investment and public-sector backers. EUCLYD plans to use the capital to strengthen ecosystem partnerships alongside its engineering and product development work.
Dede Goldschmidt, Senior Vice President of Samsung Electronics and Head of the Samsung Semiconductor Innovation Center, said:
“The next phase of AI will be defined not only by model innovation, but also by the efficiency and scalability of its infrastructure. EUCLYD combines an accomplished team with a differentiated vision addressing constraints in AI datacenters.”
Ted Persson, Partner at EQT and Co-Head of the Scaleup Europe Fund, said:
“Europe has the engineering talent to produce globally significant technology companies. EUCLYD combines deep semiconductor expertise with a mission to tackle some of the hardest constraints in AI infrastructure. That mix of European engineering depth and global ambition is what we’re here to back.”
New Board Leadership
Wennink joins EUCLYD as chairman of the board as the company develops its commercial plans. Founded by Kastrup and Atul Sinha at High Tech Campus Eindhoven, EUCLYD draws on the region’s semiconductor ecosystem and engineering base.
Peter Wennink, Chairman of the Board at EUCLYD and former President and Chief Executive Officer of ASML, said:
“Europe possesses world-class capabilities across semiconductors, advanced manufacturing, and systems engineering. EUCLYD can transform those strengths into a globally competitive AI infrastructure platform.”
A Bid for Efficient AI Deployment
EUCLYD’s long-term vision, which it calls Abundant Intelligence, centers on reducing constraints related to infrastructure cost, power availability and geography. With its Series A now in place, the company is positioning its semiconductor and datacenter roadmap for a wider set of AI deployment markets.
