Dwight School Cairo Opens in Cairo Festival City
Dwight School Cairo has opened in Cairo Festival City, welcoming Pre-K through grade 5 students for the 2026-27 academic year.

Dwight School Cairo has opened in Cairo Festival City, Egypt, through a partnership between Al-Futtaim Education Foundation and the Dwight-Franklin School Group. The school welcomed its first students on September 14 for the 2026-27 academic year. Its first phase serves students from Pre-K through grade 5, with grades 6-9 planned for 2027-28. Omar Al Futtaim, Mira Al Futtaim and Dr. Blake Spahn inaugurated the campus on September 21.
First Phase Facilities
The campus includes flexible classrooms, specialist learning areas, a library, a makerspace, music spaces and shared areas. The school’s phased development is designed to support exploration, collaboration, creativity and well-being.
Regional Education Partnership
The partnership combines Al-Futtaim Education Foundation’s regional knowledge with Dwight’s international experience. The school also draws on the Centre for Excellence in Arabic to support its approach to Arabic-language teaching.
