Bank of America has launched Payments Insights, a new capability within its CashPro platform for corporate and commercial clients. The tool provides intelligence on payment efficiency, cross-border flows and working-capital performance across U.S. accounts. It joins the bank’s AI-powered CashPro Data Intelligence suite, using peer benchmarking and dynamic visualizations to help treasury teams identify areas requiring attention. CashPro facilitated 213 million payments in the first half of 2026, up 10% year over year.

Turning Payment Data Into Action

Payments Insights is designed to organize payment and foreign exchange information into tailored observations based on available client data. Treasury teams can use the capability to explore trends and assess payment methods, cross-border transactions, currency usage and working-capital management.

Jennifer Sanctis, head of CashPro Personalized Technologies in Global Payments Solutions at Bank of America, said:

“Corporate treasury teams are managing enormous volumes of payments and foreign exchange data, but that data only creates value when it is organized and delivered in a way that supports action,”

Built With Client Input

The bank developed Payments Insights with direct input from clients, including members of its CashPro Boards. The advisory groups represent client segments and regions, with feedback intended to inform CashPro development, investment priorities and user experience.

Laura Fox, Director of Treasury for Allegis Group and member of the US CashPro Board, said:

“The future of treasury isn't just about having access to more data—it's about quickly understanding what the data means and how to act on it,”

Supporting Payment Decisions at Scale

With CashPro processing 213 million payments during the first half of 2026, the new feature focuses on helping clients evaluate opportunities in their payment and currency decisions. The bank said improved visibility into payment patterns can support more efficient methods and stronger working-capital outcomes.

Jay Davenport, co-head of Global Corporate Sales in GPS, said:

“At that scale, even incremental improvements in how a company makes payments can deliver meaningful benefits,”

Expanding CashPro Data Intelligence

Payments Insights joins Capital Markets Insights, Mobile Security Insights, CashPro Forecasting and CashPro Search in the CashPro Data Intelligence suite.

Bank of America plans to make Capital Markets Insights available online next month. In 2027, its Security Insights capability is set to expand globally for CashPro program administrators, with security scores and recommended actions intended to help clients strengthen protections and mitigate fraud and account-compromise risks.
